Former CHS pupil launches interactive podcast

We are always excited to hear news of our former pupils – so we were thrilled to receive an email from Toby Underwood who attended Calder House between 2000 and 2004. Toby went on to train to be an actor at the East 15 Acting School and has since worked at the Egg Theatre in Bath, the Natural Theatre Company and Theatre in Education tours across the South West.
Of course, with all the theatres closed due to CV19, there have been no plays or performances and actors have been unable to work. So, to keep busy during Lockdown, Toby has turned his talents towards creating an interactive podcast.
“It’s called Mind Magicians and it is a form of imaginative play where the child can create characters and go on adventures,” Toby explains. “I decided to do it because I wanted to support families (and teachers!) that are home-schooling and help keep them motivated. It's also been a great project for me during this lockdown!”
Toby’s podcast is available to download – for free! – from Apple Podcasts.
